For three days, historians from the five BRICS nations discussed your countries environmental history, under the initiative of the Post-Graduation in Social History Program (PPGHIS/UFRJ) and of Fundação Casa de Rui Barbosa.
In an unprecedented meeting, three to four highly qualified researchers from each country presented their work about the relation between history and nature, building a dialogue considering three basic themes: historiography, State and civil society.
